Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager for a full-time assignment with one of our premier Renewables & Environments clients. This role can be based out of Pine Brook, NJ or Duluth/Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Eligible for benefits. The AP Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership to our accounts payable department and to ensure that the department runs smoothly. To succeed as an AP Manager, the candidate should be focused on optimizing department processes and knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills. Travel Requirements: Minimal travel up to 10%. Direct Reports: 3 How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily:

  • Direct future AP changes as the company grows.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate accounts payable staff members.
  • Oversee routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Vendor maintenance (verify vendor's ACH banking information).
  • Reconcile supplier accounts.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile AP general ledger account as needed.
  • Oversee Procurify system to make sure submissions are approved.
  • Analyze recurring payment and enter purchase agreement in Procurify.
  • Analyze AP aging and outstanding checks.
  • Lead various projects.
  • Support with cieTrade System implementation.
What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
