Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Teaneck, New Jersey. Our industry is based on financial services and we require a specialist who can efficiently handle account coding and various accounting software systems. The workplace environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of attention to detail.Responsibilities: Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for efficient account management Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for effective resource management Perform accounting functions and accounts payable (AP) duties Apply accrual accounting principles in financial tasks Conduct auditing of financial records and transactions Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for the role. Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. Knowledge of Concur software will be advantageous. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is required. Auditing skills are necessary for the role. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is advantageous.
