Job Title: Accounts Receivable ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with a major focus on collections and the reconciliation process. This role requires a hands-on approach to handle the collections process and lead the team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a player/coach mentality, ready to dive into the details and guide their team to success.Responsibilities

Oversee and participate in the daily operations of the accounts receivable and collections team.

Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.

Create a plan to reduce the amount of outstanding balances for high volume, low dollar amount invoices.

Monitor and manage the aging of accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.

Collaborate with other teams to resolve billing disputes and improve the collections process.

Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and collection forecasts.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.

Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounts receivable and collections team.

Handle escalated collection issues and negotiate payment arrangements with clients.

Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.

Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.

Essential Skills

5+ years of Accounts Receivable/Collections experience.

3+ years of people management experience, managing a team of 3 or more.

Experience with high volume, low dollar amount invoicing.

Detail-oriented with skills in cash application and journal entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of the adjustment process.

Experience working with multiple systems for journal entries.

Ability to develop and implement collection strategies.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Work Environment This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and work-from-home days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and works closely with the Controller. This is a highly visible role that will interface with the CFO.Benefits
