Skill: AEM Front End Developer ( AEM+ React.js) – [Adobe]

Role:T2Ready to put your expert Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) skills to good use supporting innovative technology projects? Virtusa could be the place for you!As an AEM Developer, you are responsible for development, code management and building of AEM applications for our clients. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • AEM development including creating detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements.
  • Accessing experience in software development, content management, and digital platforms to provide a variety of solutions to business issues.
  • Working collaboratively with all stakeholders to apply expertise in AEM’s products to their business challenges.
  • Creating and executing testing plans to validate and support revisions made to the processes and technical solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Developed projects involving React and Redux at least for more than 2 years
  • Experience in building reusable components and strong experience with multiple front-end libraries (SASS, LESS, Redux Toolkit Etc.),
  • Thorough understanding of React and Redux and its best practices. ,
  • Understanding HTML and JSX and ability to create webpages without help.
  • Understanding CSS and CSS-in-JS and how to create thematic styles for reusability.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles ,
  • Strong Experience with Build Pipeline tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Webpack and Maven.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.,
  • Strong Experience with using Unit Testing tools like Jest and Karma.
  • Familiarity with code collaboration platforms such as Bitbucket, Gitlab, or GitHub and submitting/reviewing/approving Pull Requests/Merge Requests.,
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, OAuth flows, or common third-party Identity Providers.,
  • Strong working experience with different protocols and caching techniques and session management. ,
  • Worked part of Agile Scrum teams.

Preferred skills
  • · Adobe AEM Development experience in core Java, J2EE, Sightly/HTL, Adobe AEM 6. x, RESTful web services and modern front-end frameworks, Hands-on in CQ5/AEM implementation, upgrades & migrations.,
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS and NPM, Java/J2EE/JSP experience nice to have, AEM Certification is a plus.
