The Pricing and Contracts Analyst will work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and will support National Sales Managers, Vice Presidents, and the Director of Contracts in all aspects of sales operations, pricing, and contracting. Essential Job Functions is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

• Provide expertise in preparing competitive bids and create responses to RFIs and RFPs. Ensure the processing of all contractual obligations in accordance with agreed upon terms and conditions. • Perform data driven analysis and modeling on significant amounts of data across all sales financial functions including competition, market share, utilization, costs and other appropriate aspects for purposes of turning it into actionable information.• Analyze, Review, make recommendation, and execute customer pricing strategies and rebate structures using historical sales trends, IMS prescription trends, market intelligence, and other pertinent information.• Ensure all bids/offers to Customers, including terms and conditions, contract awards, and procedures to ensure internal notifications are received by appropriate personnel.• Working in conjunction with Sales team follow-up with all customers after bid submission to ensure the customer has received the bid, understands the offer, and to determine the company’s competitive position.• Complete ad-hoc analyses and projects per Management’s request. Review and address interdepartmental requests for product or customer contract information• Extract data from various databases using Business Intelligence tools and manipulate data using advanced Excel features such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc.• Assist in implementing bid management tool for contract management.• Work closely with Finance and Pricing team to ensure all discounts and rebates are appropriately captured and accounted in SAP pre and post-closing; Assist in maintenance of Gross-to-net Rates.• Assist in preparing department and customer communications.• Work with the business lead, clients, and legal teams on contract term updates. Ensure all contracts are reviewed, red-lines, and revised for compliance.• Manage contracts and pricing. Analyze contracted product performance and communicate account performance.• Research and resolve price discrepancies with Accounts Receivable and Customer Service

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.• 2-4 years pricing experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, IDN/health system pharmacies or pharmaceutical suppliers• Experience in healthcare supply cost management or contracting beneficial.• Self-starter: Seeks out information, training, and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in this position.• Strong analytical mindset, including extensive knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft Excel - ability to understand and maneuver complex data sets to look at business holistically.• Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships, and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration.• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in company.• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
