We support an extensive range of Capital Markets products and services including Fixed Income (FX, Rates, Credit, Muni, Cash and Derivatives) where Citi is consistently a dominant top 3 player in the market, Equity (Cash, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, Futures, Listed Derivatives, FXPB) where Citi has a significant growth program to continue to build out its capabilities and services; and Syndicates where we support both FI and EQ new issues and IPOs. Person in this role will lead the design, development, and delivery of central data repository to house critical transactional data from multiple business processes and asset classes, create required metrics and analytics platform.This is senior level position responsible for overall architecture and delivery of critical firm wide initiative. Person should be experienced in architecture and coding world class software using Microservices architecture, Realtime processing and Bigdata technologies. Should have relevant Hands-on experience in implementing Microservices using Spring Boot, Big data platform based on Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS operations, HIVE and NoSQL data stores particularly Key-Value pair. Hands on experience with Oracle, REST Services, Apache Spark and/or Kafka.Role Expectation:Person in this role will be required to lead interactions with various stream leads and develop the strategic implementation plan to acquire critical data points from multiple systems and provide central reporting of identified metrics. This role will also liaise between key technology and business partners across Markets Operations and Tech, report updates and progress to transformation office.The individual will be responsible for the leadership and management of a diverse set of talent comprising of 15+ team members globally. This is a highly visible role for a key initiative wherein the person will get opportunity to work on multiple asset classes and business functions, interact with many teams and stakeholders at senior level.Responsibilities:Ownership & Responsibility for end-to-end business solution using latest and greatest technologies in Relational & Bigdata, Data processing and Analytics space

Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive execution and delivery

Responsible for Information Management in areas of Architecture Planning, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Warehousing

Lead a culture of innovation & experimentation, support full software lifecycle that incorporates the best of technology approaches & delivery methodologies

Manage team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for the team

Actively participate in brainstorming session and provide solid inputs to the team and ensure best practices are followed within the team.

Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results

Validate detailed requirements, working through solutions and managing execution and rollout of the platform. Responsible for the application meeting project specifications and client’s expectations

Influence technical architecture and negotiate/communicate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary

Qualification and Skills:Experienced in driving software delivery and transformation through Agile practices and processes, with a focus of establishing Continuous Delivery culture and process

10+ years of working as a technical leader working on complex systems in a large organization, structuring, establishing, and leading multiple product-centric development teams

10+ years of hands-on experience in data modelling, model driven engineering and design patterns

10+ years of hands-on experience in Data warehousing, messaging, distributed Data architectures, and establishing Data platforms to support complex Analytical usage, including Operational ML use cases

10+ years of experience in Data Integration, Data Architecture, Governance and Modeling

Experience in one or more technologies: Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes, Redis, S3, Spring Boot, Java, Oracle

Excellent in Relational, No SQL databases and BI platforms like Tableau, Qliksense

Expertise in Cloud platforms and associated Developer Toolchains, DevOps models, and best practice

8 + years of experience in Financial Services required

Exceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels from an individual team to the entire enterprise

Highly credible hands-on architect, confident to deep dive into a product and codebase and offer detailed, constructive analysis and feedback

Education:Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
