If you join our team, you will be involved with developing these strategic plans while also setting standards and developing roadmaps and solutions for the future state of digital and customer facing technology. We have the business savvy paired with the technical know-how to ensure we continue our innovative and competitive culture.About this role:This position is a hybrid role. The incumbent is required to work in the office 2 days a week.The Applications Architect will create solutions for the Digital & Commercial Technology (DCT) Solutions Delivery Group (SDG). The primary focus of this role will be architecting solutions supporting Track, My Choice and Delivery Change products. He/She will support complex, large-scale customer challenges to produce secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of Track Product.He/She will demonstrate business & technical acumen required to drive technical solutions in the Track, My Choice and Delivery Change area, champion change management partnering with business & IT stakeholders, and document and drive design. You will be required to develop end to end solutions across the UPS.com ecosystem, including integration with various external systems. You will need to possess effective communication skills to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, have strong influencing skills and be motivated toward learning and adopting evolving technologies. The position requires experience with various architectural patterns. Must be experienced in coaching and guiding application development teams delivering business outcomes.Minimum Qualifications:

Expert in Web Application architecture and best practices

Experience with Architectural Patterns, Multi-tier Application Architecture, Architecture Roadmaps

Familiarity with OpenText or equivalent Content Management System

Familiarity with Angular, .NET, Java, Single Page Web Applications (SPA)

Familiarity with OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform

Experience with Microservices

Experience with highly available, large scale, multi-platform systems

Knowledge of Agile and SAFe Methodologies

Knowledge of DevSecOps

Knowledge of Database design principles

Technical Analysis & Investigative Skills

Knowledge of Security Best Practices

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
