The Application Development organization at DTCC is responsible for providing innovation technology solutions to various partners across the enterprise including Business, Finance, Risk, and Audit. Our portfolio of applications and services run on variety of platforms such as zOS mainframe, Linux, Container, AWS Cloud, and utilize technologies such as COBOL, Java, Python, Angular, and Spring. At DTCC, application developers build strong relationships with their peers across the organization and can participate in many engaging activities such as professional networks, clubs, and our employee engagement program.

What You'll Do As an Associate Programmer you will:
  • Develop, test, and implement code for existing or proposed business applications and/or computer systems
  • Assist in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects, creating technical specifications, process flows, unit test cases
  • Partner with our Application Support members to provide expertise on troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Ensure that applications conform to quality assurance and rigorous test standards

Talents Needed For Success:
  • Candidates must be working towards a Master's degree in the following curriculums and graduating no later than May 2023: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, MIS or Business & Technology Management
  • Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA upon graduation
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry a plus
  • Prior internship or industry experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience demonstrating the use of collaboration skills to achieve shared goals
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Self-starter able to independently organize their work and effectively communicate uncertainties
  • Illustrate experience demonstrating attention to detail, flexibility, inquisitiveness, and a passion for broad learning
  • Knowledge of computer programming
  • Full understanding of software fundamentals
  • Projects utilizing any of these listed technologies (Java, Python, Angular, Spring) is a big plus
