Associate Scientist

Title: Associate Scientist/Formulation Chemist Location: Princeton, NJ (100% onsite) Schedule/Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Mon – Fri (37.5 hours weekly) Type: Contract Overview Leading Consumer Product Goods (CPG) company located in central NJ is hiring an Associate level Scientist to support their "creative," Technology Consumer Experience group! Must be able to work with ambiguity within the very early stages of research & development. Responsibilities:

Utilization and development of existing or new in vitro methods to assess new technology performance for haircare product innovation

Formulation development, performance evaluation, and stability testing to support haircare product development

Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations on next steps

Competitive products assessment

Present data to the global team, which includes scientists and non-scientists

Requirements:

BS/MS in Chemistry, Formulation Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related science

Minimum 2-4 years of formulation experience, preferably in personal care or cosmetic sciences

Must be able to work independently, have a “can do” attitude, and natural curiosity

Proficient in MS Office and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams)
