Position Title: Automation Test Engineer

W2 PositionJob Description:

Responsibilities include:

Create test strategies/approaches for custom projects
Create QA estimates, schedules and resulting staff plans for assigned projects
Create test plans and work diligently to ensure projects are fit for QA entry
Compose and implement test cases based upon requirements and design specifications
Record test results and report defects using team processes and standards
Ensure all builds are properly validated
Report project issues and risks to the team as they arise
Work with the project team to mitigate/resolve issues that impede progress
Assist in the recreation and retesting of defects
Effectively communicate issues, concerns, progress, etc. to all audiences
Support project activities post QA through to turnover to Production Support

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
5+ years’ experience in the software quality assurance industry
3+ years’ experienced acting in a Senior Automation Tester
2+ years’ experience working with external clients on a periodic basis

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a professional services organization, strongly preferred
Experience in financial Service industry OR Bank
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps
Experience with automated test tools; Selenium Webdriver, TestNG
Background in programming and development methodology
