AVP, Lead Business Business Systems AnalystNuveen is seeking an AVP, Lead Business Analyst with a string track record in gathering and translating business requirements into functional requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including engineering teams, business users, vendors and QA, for all requirements. They will ensure projects are adhering to timelines and deadlines. This role involves validating and testing changes that are in UAT as well as post production deployment and be part of the production deployment to test changes. It will be responsible to secure necessary approvals and ensuring that system solutions align with business needs and the overall information system architecture. This role will work closely with senior leadership to manage large projects, streamline processes and develop operational plans.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Provides senior level consulting services to business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve IT and business management results.

Develops and implements new processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.

Participates in defining and formulating senior leadership’s IT strategy through the review of business objectives and value proposition.

Advises senior leadership on future business direction and aligns IT with business priorities, strategies, and operating models.

Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

Recommends long-term improvements and changes to organization’s IT systems to support future business direction and growth.

Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Required

Work Experience

5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Career Level9ICRequired Qualifications:

5+ Years Experience creating Functional (FRD) and/or Business (BRD) Requirement Documents.

5+ Years Experience using SQL

Experience creating Data Mapping Catalogs

Preferred Qualifications:

Eagle (IBOR / ABOR / Security Master) tool experience.

Must be able to work in multiple projects.

Should be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges.

Experience and knowledge on Cloud technologies, preferably AWS - Snowflake, Iceberg etc.

Experience using data quality tools like Collibra.
