AWS Developer/Engineer - SME

Evaluates AWS needs and coordinates with the various Business Units on best practices. Note: Role will be Remote Experience Required In depth knowledge of AWS platform and key AWS services like EC2, S3, Redshift etc. Proven experience assessing on-premise environment for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap. Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint Research market trends pertaining to Cloud, recommend best practices and mentor team to build necessary competency Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with the organization. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Certification on AWS architecture desirable Roles and Responsibilities: Study existing on-prem environment and define cloud migration strategy Frequently meet with infrastructure and application teams to gather project requirements Develop architecture plan including required AWS services and cost estimation Facilitate conversation with various teams during every phase of project implementation Ensure project design and implementation following already defined guidelines by the organization Develop disaster recovery plan for each project Oversee build of the environment and validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience In depth knowledge of AWS platform and key AWS services like EC2, S3 etc. Required 3 Years Proven experience assessing on-prem environment for Cloud suitability, Required 3 Years Experience developing business case and Cloud adoption roadmap.
