Job Requirements

Essential Job Functions

8 years of experience developing moderately complex batch business applications using C
8 years of experience in SQL, against moderately complex, large data stores preferably embedded in C and using an Oracle data store
8 years of experience using Unix or Linux
5 years of experience shell scripting
Experience developing and executing automated test procedures for software components
3 years of experience with network programming
Experience using code vulnerability scanners, analyzing results and making recommendations for remediation
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with Visual Code or other IDE
Experience with Git or other versioning software
Experience creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, for example design, and testing documents
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Experience working in a team environment, supporting a client
Experience mentoring/teaching less experienced team members
Experience working with System Administrators assisting in Application and Server configuration and Testing configurations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems or equivalent work experience
