Bookkeeper

Description A busy company in the Parsippany area is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. This Bookkeeper will join an excellent team of 4 who all have passion for the business and work great together to make sure things run efficient and effective. This Bookkeeper must be comfortable wearing many hats and doing other responsibilities outside of just accounting as they will be handling office management duties too. The ideal Bookkeeper will come from the medical industry and have proficiency in QuickBooks (required). This Bookkeeper will be responsible for duties including but not limited to:

Supporting the Finance/Accounting Department

working with the outside contracted accountant

Accounts Payable and Cash Disbursements

Processing invoices (vendor bills, credit card, expense reimbursements, etc.)

Entering transactions in QuickBooks

Ensuring proper approvals on check requests and invoices

Reconciling monthly credit card statements

Obtaining form W-9 from new vendors

Maintaining vendor information and paid invoice files

Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts

Entering deposits (cash, check and electronic receipts)

Applying checks to receivables

Managing office supply inventory

This Bookkeeper position is paying between $55,000 and $65,000 annually depending on experience. If interested in this Bookkeeper role apply today! Requirements

3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required

Strong time management and organizational skills

QuickBooks experience a must

Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus

Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
