Business Analyst (Remote)

A consumer products company in New Jersey is currently seeking a new Business Analyst for a promising Remote position with their growing staff.

• Analysis and documentation of business needs and systems impacts to ensure the successful delivery of various applications
• Completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects
• Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike
• Documenting business requirements, user stories/acceptance criteria, use cases, workflow diagrams etc.
• Working with the Business Users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance
• Collaborating with Project team and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications
• Performing other duties, as needed

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 8+ years of experience in systems analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
• Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related majors
• Experience in Salesforce
• Experience in Data Mapping
• Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes)
• Knowledge of Information Security Awareness
• Solid understanding of Web Applications
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
• Product Owner or Scrum Master certification
• Salesforce certification
• Experience in Jira
• Experience with CPQ, Vendavo
• Experience with enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing
