The Business Analyst, Digital Lab Platforms is a key member of the IT Product Innovation team. In addition to being responsible for business analysis, you will work with internal and external groups to successfully drive our digital lab strategy, deliver and support technology-based capabilities and support users through training and knowledge transfer. You will work closely with the Digital Lab Platforms Delivery Manager, IT Business Engagement, R&D and Quality lab users.

  • Effectively communicates with all stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Acts as liaison between business users, other vendors and IT counterparts to capture functional requirements.
  • Lead and manage user acceptance testing activities to ensure the solution meets business requirements and new functionality, enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Support business transition management, communication, and training
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with onsite, and remote resources
  • Ability to engage in all phases of a project to ensure that the Digital Lab Platforms solutions meet all business requirements based on Functional Specifications.
  • Ability to examine issues both strategic and analytically, challenging and proposing alternative solutions where applicable.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience.At least 3 years’ experience in a laboratory technical IT role, developing, and implementing software applicationsExperience with laboratory informatics platforms (CDS, LIMS, Automation, etc…) with strong emphasis in analyzing and troubleshooting setup, configuration, and integration issues.The successful candidate will be well organized and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proven experience with laboratory informatics systems
  • Experience with ITIL processes including SDLC documentation in a regulated environment
  • Proven experience with computer system validation, leading, executing user acceptance testing.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, critical thinking and organization skills.
  • Experience with Contact Center and Customer Service technologies a plus
  • SQL, PLM, EOHS, SAP, and regulatory knowledge and experience a plus
  • Azure Dev Ops (ADO) experience a plus
