Job Title: Business Analyst with API experience Client Name: Fiserv Job Location: Chicago IL or Berkeley Heights, NJ - Hybrid (2 days a week onsite)Duration: Long Term contract As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you are expected to be an advanced professional in the systems & process design and implementation space. Sr Business Systems Analyst will solicit, understand, and document the business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows. You will also work with developers to create the functional specifications that meet those requirements, serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and work with the QA team to test the developed functionality. This role works closely with other BAs, Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders. This job requires an experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, lead others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions. As an experienced analyst, you will be responsible for recommending and instituting business analysis best practice, tools and methodology towards standardization of BA deliverables and procedures and collaborating with Development and QA Leads to uphold and improve Agile processes. As a Business Systems Analyst Sr, you can look forward to: Leading facilitating and documenting functional processes and dialog flows Analyzing and documenting of features, epics, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and other use case modeling techniques and methods Working with Product Owner and Scrum Master and to capture business needs, features and user stories to be prioritized based on business impact and complexity Working with Technical Lead and Developers describing epics, features and user stories to be developed including acceptance criteria Working closely with Product Owner to ensure all business needs are met, including project objectives, expected results and business impact Working closely with Scrum Master to assist with backlog grooming, user stories management and prioritization of features based on release Analyzing and coordinating business activities and operational resources for various large Information Technology projects using Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies Analyzing and validating a model against requirement documents Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, Use Cases, business analysis and task and work flow analysis Defining Use Cases to articulate new functional software needs Creating required project artifacts, including but not limited to Business Requirements Documents (“BRD”) and Functional Specification Documents (“FSD”) as well as supporting documentation, such as process flows and/or data mapping Creating and monitoring project plans and creating a detailed project plan which is modified and updated throughout the project life cycle Facilitating and coordinating JAD sessions to expedite and streamline the requirement gathering process Creating requirement traceability matrix to track existing versus future state to achieve business objectives Creating Epic, Story Tasks and User Stories and strategizing the impact of requirements on different platforms and applications Analyzing model input and output data Translating business requirements into optimal solution design Identifying project issues and analyzing issues in order to recommend resolution Documenting business processes and workflows and the relationship to current and future software solutions Planning and developing test plans for various components Creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure that applications work according to business requirements Coordinating problem and issue reviews with follow up on assigned actions Analyzing test and performance results and recommending necessary changes to meet
