Job Description:

As part of Global Technology Chief Operating Office, the Global Technology Resiliency & Business Continuity (GRBC) team drives consistent, end-to-end unified business processes across the enterprise. The GRBC team directly impacts the firm's ability to achieve and sustain technology resiliency and recovery, ensuring effective coordination of planning, testing, exercise, and governance.

The Business Continuity Data Resiliency Lead will provide overall leadership in creation of data resiliency policies and standards across the Global Technology Resiliency Business Continuity Program. This individual will work across multiple technologies (Cloud, Mainframe, Midrange, etc.) throughout the enterprise to understand current data replication and backup strategies. This individual also will work with Line of business needs to understand data recovery and restoral time needs across the critical services provided by the bank. With this knowledge the individual will work to create enterprise Business Continuity standards and policies around Data Resiliency Architectures, Data Reconciliation processes, and Data Corruption recovery plans. In addition, this individual will work to identify critical data resiliency metrics and influence metric testing and reporting. This individual will also provide data resiliency subject matter consulting support in audit and regulatory matters, as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in Database Backup and Recovery processes including Mirroring, Logical synchronous or asynchronous replication, hardware or software replication and external backup processes.
  • Experience in Data Archiving, Data Purging, Data Validation etc.
  • Knowledge of Data quality risks and remediations
  • Ability to communicate technical details with business owners
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Highly organized, ability to simultaneously prioritize tasks and handle numerous time-sensitive issues
  • Identifies linkages and thinks "enterprise" across business lines and geographies

  • Knowledge of Dell Enterprise Content Management system
  • Technology system backup and recovery experience
