Business Intelligence Analyst

Position : Business Intelligence AnalystLocation : New Brunswick, New Jersey need Locals only.JD: Looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst, EPMO Insights & Operations, located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This role supports a federated group of technology project & product portfolios across the J&J businesses to ensure that our investments deliver the intended business outcomes and value. Our Company invests more than $1.6B in digital technology each year to enable top-line growth and help run the company more efficiently. This role will be part of a team across the Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) organization to evolve the practices and ensure consistency on how we manage our portfolios efforts to improve the transparency to our stakeholders of the investments we make in terms of cost and business value created. Key Responsibilities: Summary: As a Business Intelligence developer, you will work closely with the UX Lead, product and portfolio management teams in order to understand key business questions, metrics and dashboarding needs. You will own responsibility for the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions, be passionate about giving data meaning through analytics and information visualization while maximizing user-adoption and driving data literacy. Responsibilities: · Define and sets the standards for dashboards and visualization design · Contribute to communication of technical insights to non-technical audiences · Follows best practices associated with process, tools, techniques, and methodologies related to data organization and delivery · Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills · Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills · Willing to take the lead in working complex technology/information solutions · Strong change management and stake-holders management skills · Qualifications Education: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Visual Design, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required Experience and Skills: Required: · 5+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Visual Design · 5+ years’ experience focused on Business Intelligence dashboard and report designs and development, directly working with the business · 5+ years’ experience working with modern BI tools PowerBI, Tableau, etc. · Understand data visualization techniques and libraries and their applicability to individual business problems · Proven ability to design/develop industry-leading and intuitive data visualizations to tell stories with data, focused on end user adoption and data literacy · Strong (5 +) experience in SQL. Knowledge of data modelling, HTML and JavaScript is a plus · Strong (3+) experience in SharePoint designer. i.e., SharePoint sites, sub sites · Strong MS Office skills. Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, Formulae), Power Point · Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment in an Agile environment · Detail orientated Preferred: · Personal portfolio of work will be favorably considered if available · 2+ years of Project Management experience strongly preferred Other: · Work for the EPMO is based in our New Brunswick world headquarters, with some work from remotely (i.e., home) according to policies set by the Company · Limited travel, mostly to local NJ- and PA-based offices · Role Duration: TBD
