POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinates patient care and general clinical office activities and performs a variety of direct patient care activities in a Center under the general guidance of the Practice Manager and/or Medical/Director.

EDUCATION:

Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Also, demonstrated understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Current and valid New Jersey RN or LPN license. Current and valid BCLS certification required. Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations. Strong communication”both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations.
