We represent a Consumer and Retail Banking organization headquartered in New Jersey, in their search for a highly Experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) The Chief Information Officer has complete ownership and accountability of the establishment and execution of the enterprise-wide Data and IT strategy and ensures its integration with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to achieve business capability performance success.The CIO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and participates in and contributes to overall enterprise business model, operating model and business strategy development.The CIO brings current knowledge and future vision of leveraging data, technology, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (Client), natural language processing (NLP) in business model design, business capability performance improvements, product and service development, and support for developing competitive advantage in delivering on our vision and mission.The CIO leads the development, design and optimization of business and technical information systems platforms and is responsible for the analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware and software, and database management.The CIO analyzes information technology options and makes recommendations based on business needs, total cost of ownership and financial returns. The CIO identifies appropriate service solutions to be integrated into company information systems, makes recommendations for implementation, and works with business partners regarding technology services evaluation and acquisition. The CIO manages the security and protection of our members data, tools and information systems and ensures that infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. The CIO coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures that information technology services are uninterrupted. The CTO selects, mentors, develops, and motivates department team members to ensure the efficient operation of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering, master's degree preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15 years or more of experience across various roles in data and IT
  • 10 years or more of leadership responsibilities.
  • 5 to 7years of experience in any kind of banking industry leading, large, cross-functional teams or enterprise-wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy and strategic planning, organization design and development.
  • Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading large, complex and or transformational initiatives in dynamic environments and taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business models and enable the digitalization of the business.
  • Recent experience working with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing technologies and applying them to strategic business opportunities is preferred.
