Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The role will involve utilizing various software systems and skills to manage and maintain accurate customer records, resolve inquiries, and conduct collection processes in an efficient and organized manner.Responsibilities: Conduct approximately 25-30 collection calls daily, ensuring a professional and respectful approach. Utilize Yardi software for collection activities and account management. Handle expense recoveries that are billed out to tenants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage real estate bill processes for tenant expenses, such as real estate taxes, maintenance, and utilities. Utilize the CRM system for customer relationship management and tracking of collection processes. Employ Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for financial management and collection processes. Use Epic Software for managing customer inquiries and maintaining accurate records. Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure the swift answering of inbound calls. Administer billing functions and claim administration processes. Execute CAM reconciliation and other Collection Processes professionally and efficiently. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Accurint Experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in CRM Familiarity with Epic Software Excellent knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Answering Inbound Calls Proficient in Billing Functions Knowledge of Claim Administration Understanding of Collection Processes Experience in Cam Reconciliation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Strong organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
