Contract Azure Security Engineer in NJ

We are seeking an Azure Security Engineer to join our growing Information Security Office to assist with the following:Design and develop security controls within the Azure portfolio. Design, estimation and implementation of Azure security reviews, assessments, and statements of work.Build strategies around logging, threat detection, and incident response.Audit, ensure, and secure data encryption methods internet protocols.Develop and coordinate cloud security architecture using security principles and security best practices.Assess systems configurations and build solutions to implement security controls using automation and scriptingIdentify data ingress and egress controls and implement data protection mechanisms.Participate in efforts that tailor security policies and standards for use in cloud environmentsProvides Info security architecture & systems engineering consulting to other IT and business teamsIdentify and implement new security technologies and best practices into Cloud offerings SkillRequired / DesiredAmountof ExperienceDesigns/Implements and Validates Azure security configurationsRequired 4 Years Knowledge of Microsoft ADFS, Azure MFA, Microsoft AD Integration with Cloud Applications/Microsoft Azure Active DirectoryRequired 3 Years of Experience with Azure AD, IAM, RBAC and policy-based access.Required 3 Years Experience with detection and response of cyber security threatsRequired 5 Years Knowledge of industry security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, Azure WAF and CAF, HIPPAA, PCI, etc.Required 5 Years Strong knowledge and experience with industry leading security vendor platforms for cloud systemsHighly desired 3 Years Must be able to provide guidance on architecture and design for cloud security platformsHighly desired 3 Years Strong, in-depth analytical and problem-solving skillsRequired 3 Years Ability to effectively interact with other IT Services professionals and communicate clearlyRequired 5 Years Hands on knowledge of Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, or any other SIEM integrationRequired 3 Years
