Description Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in SAGE ERP and a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. This position will be onsite in Bridgewater, NJ area.Job Description:As a Short-Term Contract Controller, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations for a duration of 3-4 weeks. You will be responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, managing general ledger accounting, generating AR aging reports, and maintaining depreciation schedules.Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close: Lead and execute the full month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

General Ledger Accounting: Maintain and update the general ledger, making necessary adjustments as required.

Accounts Receivable: Generate and analyze AR aging reports, ensuring timely collections and resolving any discrepancies.

Depreciation Schedules: Manage and update depreciation schedules for fixed assets.

SAGE ERP Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience with SAGE ERP to optimize financial processes and reporting within the system.

Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with other financial tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with expertise in SAGE ERP.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
