As a Corporate Counsel at TAL, you'll provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across a broad mix of regulatory, product and commercial matters. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help shape confident decisions, navigate regulatory change and support initiatives that impact millions of Australians. This is a broad inhouse legal opportunity where you'll work across commercial, regulatory and product matters, partnering closely with the business on issues that directly influence TAL's customers and strategic priorities.In This Role You Will:Provide practical legal advice across commercial, regulatory and product mattersPartner with stakeholders on the development and distribution of life insurance productsDraft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreementsAdvise on regulatory change, customer communications, marketing and consumer protection mattersSupport corporate legal matters including contracts and intellectual propertyHelp the business understand emerging legal and regulatory risksContribute to broader industry reform and advocacy across life insurance and superannuation
