Description We are searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. This role involves responding to customer queries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The industry is focused on e-commerce, specifically dealing with products such as watches and sunglasses. The workplace requires on-site presence and active involvement with the warehouse team.Responsibilities: Respond to inbound customer calls and emails in a timely and efficient manner. Handle customer disputes and complaints, aiming to resolve issues on the first contact. Walk the warehouse with the team to make necessary adjustments to customer orders. Enter customer data and order details accurately into the internal system. Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions. Use Microsoft Word and Excel to manage customer information and schedule appointments. Work with major platforms like Ebay, Walmart, Amazon to process customer orders and handle returns. Adapt to seasonal changes in return rates and manage them effectively. Participate in training sessions for the internal system to enhance performance. Cooperatively work with the team to maintain a smooth workflow in the customer service department.This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Data entry skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls, preferably in a call center environment Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently Familiarity with order entry systems Ability to schedule appointments effectively Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle difficult customer situations with patience and professionalism Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively High school diploma or equivalent required.
