Sr. DC Engineer

Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Schedule)

Long Term Contract or CTH

Experience and duties:

Data Center technologies with extensive knowledge of OSPF, BGP, Multicast, EVPN- VxLAN overlay, Cisco ACI.
Technical knowledge of the DC vendor product portfolio, platforms and associated management solutions. (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
Working knowledge of Load Balancers (F5 GTM/LTM), Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper)
Ability to work across the organization and build strong relationships.
The desire to partner with the Cloud and Virtual Engineering teams to co-develop solutions.
In-depth knowledge of engineering best practices, IT governance and operational excellence.
Experience building and delivering enterprise-level, critically important services under aggressive schedules and budgets.
Knowledge of VMware virtualization solutions: (NSX-T, ALB, DFW) and virtualized network functions.
Knowledge of Instrumentation tools (NetScout) and automation frameworks (Ansible).
Looking to rearchitect and rebuild their data center… Currently have a strategy in mind
DC locations: UK, US, scattered around the rest of the globe.
