Data Engineer

F ull time Data Engineer Location - Remote Entry Level (Data Engineer: Level 2)

• 3 or more years of experience in functional programming with a scripting language such as python or java
• 2 or more years of sql experience
• 1 or more experience in Implementing data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes
• 1 or more experience with data modeling in large Data warehousing, data lake environment
• Knowledge of file transfer between window/unix systems and unix shell commands
• Deep knowledge of using data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Ability to articulate distribute data processing concepts well
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing preferred Google Cloud Platform
• Flexible to work in Devops / Agile Methodologies
• Educational background in computer science

• 6 or more years of experience in performance tuning SQL queries on OLAP databases
• 4 or more years of experience is windows and unix based file transfer, data transfer systems used for ETL
• 2 or more years of experience in data modeling based on business use cases
• 2 or more year of experience to engineer distribute data processing systems using Apache Spark or similar
• Strong knowledge of using data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Educational background in computer science
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing with AWS, Azure or GoogleCloudPlatform

• 8 or more years of experience in performance tuning SQL queries on OLAP databases
• 6 or more years of experience is windows and unix based file transfer, data transfer systems used for ETL
• 6 or more years of experience in data modeling and reporting based on business use cases
• 4 or more years of experience to engineer distribute data processing systems using Apache Spark or similar
• 4 or more years of experience with Google Cloud BigQuery or other similar data warehouse.
• 4 or more years of experience with Google Cloud Pub/Sub or any other messaging system.
• 1 or more years of experience with Apache Beam or any other streaming data processing system.
• Strong knowledge of using data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Deep knowledge of cloud computing with AWS, Azure or GoogleCloudPlatform
• Educational background with at least bachelor's in computer science
