It includes the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards of the GBS business unit. It forms a critical part of the oversight of project delivery with a continuing need to connect the dots across various systems/tools employed within the delivery workflow.What does a successful Database Analyst do at Fiserv?

Understand the portfolio/project workflows and the data behind them to translate that data and insight into visual communications in order to solve business problems and enhance business processes

Partner with leaders within and outside of the organization to define and develop metrics, and/or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure critical work processes and compare against benchmarks and standards for performance

Collate data across multiple workflow tools to provide comprehensive views in support of business and technology functions

Identify and partner with individual playing similar roles to develop and standardize appropriate portfolio and project reporting/dashboards as needed to enhance underlying processes

What you will do:

Utilize solid SQL skills via exposure to RDBMSs such as Amazon Redshift, Google Cloud, BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Postgres, etc.

Leverage DB Activities like stored procedures, creating tables and materialized views, etc.

Create and publish dashboards utilizing PowerBI

Build simple and compelling visualizations (dashboards, charts, etc.) and reports that convey information, as well as context, that lead to data-driven decisions

Update and maintain SSRS Reports

Develop training resources and answer questions on use of Power BI Assets

What you will need to have:

5+ years of hands-on data experience using SQL, Amazon Redshift, Google Cloud, BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Postgres, etc.

5+ years of work experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translate them to technical requirements

Solid interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical audience of wide variety of levels including client-facing senior management

Ability to self-direct and manage priorities, handle issues that are not well-defined and/or conflict with available information, and successfully navigate ambiguity to resolution

What would be great to have:

Working experience in the financial services or banking domain

Familiarity with reporting environments—authoring, publishing, consuming—Power BI
