Dental Assistant

General and prosthodontic dental practice in Bloomfield is seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team that will possibly lead to full-time. This person should be friendly, extremely reliable, punctual and team oriented. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the dentist chairside, taking and processing x-rays, sterilization, breaking down and setting up operatories, lab tasks under the supervision of the dentist. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, x-ray license, experience working in a dental office, excellent communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Days and hours of operation are Mondays approximately 8:15 am to 6:15 pm, Tuesdays approximately 8:15 am to 6:15 pm, Wednesdays approximately 8:15 am to 6:15 pm and Thursdays approximately 8:15 am to 6:15 pm. A flexible schedule is helpful.
