DevOps/DevSecOps Specialist

MDMS is recruiting for a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer for a financial services firm in NJ. You will be responsible for budling automated services and infrastructure provisioning, designing cloud architecture, and establishing CI/CD pipelines. You will also help drive Cloud, Automation, and DevOps initiatives across the organization. Prior experience in the financial sector is a plus, but not required. Requirements:

• Experienced in CI/CD stack (Gitlab) and IaC solutions (Packer, Saltstack, Terraform).
• Experience with AWS native compute services including AWS Batch, Glue, Fargate, Kubernetes, Lambda, etc.
• Design experience per AWS Well Architected Framework principles and knowledge of component limitations.
• Strong development skills (python/java/scala) and data skills (sql).
• Working knowledge of loggings and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK, DataDog, etc.).
• Experience working with global development teams, vendors and infra/security professionals.
• Knowledge of security controls and/or security tooling for the public cloud.
• Experience with any of: Consul, ELK, Kafka, Nexus, Prometheus/Grafana, Rsyslog, Splunk, Vagrant, Vault.
• Experience with alternate cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• AWS certification (DevOps, SysOps, Solutions Architect).
