Digital Project ManagerYou will shepherd projects through their complete lifecycles. You ll assist with a cross-functional team that includes marketing, strategy, planning, creative and project management. You ll assist in the education of Technology tactics and perspectives and how they relate to and affect the holistic project.Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and the digital landscape to contribute to the overall technical direction of technology
  • Estimate hours and project time needs accurately, and actively participate in scope and requirements definition
  • Create, support, and maintain functional and technical requirements as well as other business and project-based documentation
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with your team proactively
  • Participate in the identification, evaluation and selection of 3rd party vendors
  • Develop client team leadership for complex and/or multiple projects
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop initial concepts for projects and define scope, budgets and timelines
  • Determine daily project status and manage client expectations
  • Work closely with QA to manage the quality assurance process
  • Participate in client discussions regarding status and provide technology insights, recommendations and solutions
  • Create high quality and timely performance reviews and development plans
  • Responsible for career development of direct reports
To qualify, you ll need:
  • Four year degree
  • 5-7 years of web programming, management or comparable experience
  • 1-3 years of experience managing digital projects teams
  • Creative agency experience desired
  • Proven track record in managing multi-channel projects of large size or complexity
  • Deep familiarity with the digital environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Understanding of business and technical processes to enable technology solutions
  • Ability to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively
  • Complete knowledge of QA processes and conventions
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g., Scrum and Waterfall
  • Ability to identify and communicate project and team risks to senior team members and/or leadership
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership in providing effective team approaches and processes
  • Ability to decompose larger efforts into tasks for delegation to other team members
