Director of Regional IT Stratus Technology Services is seeking a Director of Regional IT to manage our client s multi sourced end-user facing support team, as well as supporting staff with IT issues, requests, and projects that require IT involvement. You will provide customer service to end users in North America, primarily in the United States, by managing the regional Site IT teams to prevent or quickly resolve incidents and requests. Managing this team includes onboarding/offboarding, training, developing, setting goals, and evaluating performance based on SLA s/KPI s/CSAT and project targets. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the resources of the regional Site IT team and balance their priorities between regular support activities, IT projects and local business projects.
  • Continuously liaise between the Global IT organization and business site management teams in the region to provide IT information to the business and business information to the IT teams.
  • Building key relationships with all stakeholders within your region is vital within this role.
  • Maintain a flow of information between the Regional Site IT team and other IT teams regarding developments, problems and any other information that is of value to continue knowledge sharing and collaboration within the global IT organization.
  • Continuously improve support processes and develop staff to keep up with the changing IT and business demands.
  • Annually review/update/amend all site support documentation to provide continuity of support within your region.
  • Project Manage IT projects and provide guidance to staff that is assigned as Project Manager for Site IT projects or Coordinator on Global projects.
  • Manage regional IT expense budgets (if applicable), stock levels and IT equipment in the region.
  • Procure required equipment to fulfill end user requirements and project demand.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Service Level Management, Incident, Problem solving and Change Management skills.
  • Excellent people management skills with proven ability to build relationships with all levels.
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • End user computing, client deployment and configuration.
  • Experience in managing a virtual IT team and supporting a large-scale IT environment with WAN and LAN technology
  • 5+ years experience in managing contractors/outsourced staff.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Preferred Background:
  • ITIL Service Manager certification
  • Prince II Practitioner (or equivalent project management) certification
  • Experience as ITIL process manager
  • Experience in leading Small, medium, and Large-sized projects in an international, multi-cultural, environment
