Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Dispatcher in Merchantville, New Jersey. As a Dispatcher, you will be the main point of communication with our customers and service technicians, coordinating services and maintaining a comprehensive database of customer repair records.Responsibilities: Establish communication with customers to identify their needs and address their queries effectively. Efficiently schedule and assign work orders to service technicians, utilizing dispatching software. Maintain constant contact with service technicians, providing them with their next assignments and updating the system accordingly. Aid service technicians by processing and ordering parts as required. Keep a detailed log of all service calls. Update and manage the dispatching board to ensure efficient capacity utilization of technicians. Organize and manage the on-call schedule, notifying technicians of their assigned weeks. Keep the answering service updated with the schedule and emergency contact numbers. Maintain comprehensive customer repair records in the computer database, providing a detailed history of work performed at customer sites. Understand and manage the service work order module and service contracts. Actively participate in all dispatch activities. Conduct various reporting responsibilities as required. Learn and understand technician capabilities to dispatch effectively.Requirements Demonstrated expertise in Customer Service, with a focus on resolving inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently. Proven experience in Dispatching, including coordinating and directing the movement of goods and services. Strong skills in Client Communications, particularly in maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and team members. Exceptional Time Management abilities, with a track record of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
