Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dock Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of materials and products within our warehouse environment. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes, playing a crucial part in maintaining our supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling while adhering to safety protocols established by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized workspace and optimize workflow.

Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly documented.

Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.

Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Support construction activities as needed, demonstrating flexibility in various operational tasks.

They need to be familiar with shipping and receiving, paperwork, bills of loading, and 9-5;30pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

Prior experience in a warehouse setting is essential; supervisory experience is preferred.

Proficient in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping & receiving protocols.

Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is required.

Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.

Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
