About the Role In this position, the Senior Staff Software Developer/Lead will serve as one of the lead architects for the Manufacturing Software Development team, designing our next-generation manufacturing software environment. This person will also be one of the leading technical contributors to this organization. This is a high visibility role across the company and the successful candidate will be expected to work across organizations to achieve results. The person will guide and mentor a highly energetic group of junior full-stack software developers, leading tasks, and providing mentorship and leadership. What You Will Do- Work with manufacturing and engineering to develop our future strategy
- Design and develop complex new software products and databases
- Produce specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies for our new software architecture
- Coordinate with Offshore and Onsite development team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 8-10 years of software development experience
- 3 years of designing and leading large-scale software projects
- Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies utilizing SDLC and Agile development
- Broad understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems and programming languages, especially Python, C /C#, web development utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, React.js, Angular.js a plus
- Knowledge of MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle database software development
- Excellent knowledge of computer architecture, networking, storage, etc.
