Role Requirements
Possess at least 4-5 years’ experience in commercial property & casualty insuranceShould have worked as a business analyst in at least 3 property & casualty digital transformation engagementsPossess expertise in industry leading application platforms like Guidewire/Duck CreekDeep understanding of commercial insuranceMust have experience in application support and maintenance work. Must have good ability to analyze and identify the problems / root causes.Good to haev experience in Testing and prepare test casesPossess qualifications such as CPCU, AINS, CBAP (desirable)Good understanding of agile tools such as JIRA or Rally (desirable) Responsibilities & DutiesCollaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts in eliciting business requirements, ascertaining the pain areas, prioritizing deliverables, managing approved scope and stakeholder expectations.Analyze stakeholder needs, benefits, risks, constraints and business opportunities that need to be considered in the scope and implementation of the project.Facilitate working sessions with business stakeholders and strike consensus and create a shared understanding of business expectations, document them and obtain "sign-off"Support requirements management across business areas and multiple system domainsMaintain, groom and maintain the products/sprint backlog and take up business requirements based on stakeholder prioritiesAbility to identify cross application impacts as well as impacts to Broker, Vendor and/or Internal CustomerWorks closely with system architects and technical application leads to ensure solution and design remain in line with stakeholder expectations, client’s future goals & strategies, and industry standards.Provides input into planning to ensure dependencies are understood and work is sequenced appropriately, acts as the liaison between Business Stakeholders and IT Delivery team to ensure business objectives are realized as per the project plan.Participates in creation of test planning, test cases and facilitates and coordinates UAT activitiesCollaborate with Release Management
