Engineering Supervisor

Job Title: Engineering SupervisorJob Description Design complete building automation systems including the specification and sizing of controllers, electromechanical devices, sensors, networks, and computer hardware. Create sequences of operation for the control of all building systems where necessary. Document the design (i.e., submittals) and manage revision control of resultant documents. Configure the WebCTRL system on a site-specific basis using SiteBuilder. Program control algorithms, including those with third-party integration, using Eikon. Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems using Eikon and ViewBuilder. Test programming and interfaces before deployment. Conduct functional testing (commissioning) of complex building systems such as chiller plants and large integrations. Finalize documentation of the building automation system incorporating all post-submittal changes. Adhere to project requirements and company/customer standards in all aspects of design, programming, and implementation. Provide technical support during the sales process to ensure accurate addressing of customer requirements and proposing optimal solutions. Mentor and develop other Controls Engineers. Perform software and hardware quality control (QA/QC) reviews for all direct reports. Coordinate deliverable dates from Project Managers with Engineers and set milestones to ensure timely completion. Document and participate in yearly and semi-yearly performance reviews for all Engineers. Communicate clearly and proactively set expectations with managers and project teams both internally and externally. Maintain and advise on customer and company design and programming standards including parts and practices. Adhere to safety standards with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
