Job Title: Engineering SupervisorJob Description Design complete building automation systems, including specifying and sizing controllers, electromechanical devices, sensors, networks, and computer hardware. Create sequences of operation for controlling building systems as needed. Document designs (i.e., submittals) and manage revision control of resultant documents. Configure the WebCTRL system for specific sites using SiteBuilder. Program control algorithms, including those involving third-party integration, using Eikon. Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems using Eikon and ViewBuilder. Test programming and interfaces before deployment. Perform functional testing (commissioning) of complex building systems such as chiller plants and large integrations. Finalize documentation of building automation systems, incorporating all changes made since the issuance of the submittal. Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards in all aspects of design, programming, and implementation. Provide technical support during the selling process to ensure sales representatives accurately address customer requirements and propose optimal solutions. Mentor and develop other Controls Engineers. Perform software and hardware quality control (QA/QC) reviews for all direct reports. Coordinate deliverable dates with Project Managers and ensure milestones are met. Document and participate in annual and semi-annual performance reviews for all Engineers. Communicate clearly and proactively set expectations with managers and project teams, both internal and external. Maintain and advise on customer and company design and programming standards, including parts and practices. Adhere to safety standards with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
