Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 3

Unit DescriptionShare your vision and inspire others.Sodexo is seeking a Custodial Operations Manager 3 for Cooper University Hospital located in Camden, NJ. This facility has 634 beds and will manage a team of 56 on Day Shift (6:30am- 4pm with flexibility) depending on the needs of the business. This role includes rotating holidays and weekends, supporting coverage for every 5th weekend.Overall will manage daily interaction at these 3 locations, weekly huddles, and meetings. Prior Environmental Service Management experience in a health care / hospital environment would be helpful. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle multiple priorities at one time, in a fast paced environment.Cooper is the leading academic health system in the south Jersey region that provides access to primary, specialty, tertiary, and urgent care, all within one complete health system. be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;

provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;

work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director;

effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and/or

support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a health care housekeeping system;

have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a health care environment is preferred;

have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;

are results and safety driven;

have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;

have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;

have 3-5 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience., in a hospital, health care experience preferred but not required;

are proficient with computers and other technology.
