Description Robert Half is seeking an Estimator for a contract-to-hire in Paramus, NJ. The role focuses on budgeting and accounting functions within the Construction/HVAC industry, where the selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing project plans, determining cost factors, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors.Responsibilities: Analyze documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project Identify factors of production that will influence the cost of a service or product Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service Create labor estimates for any project Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors Manage bids from vendors and contractors Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis Present prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders Compile and record actual costs Use Accounting Software Systems for various accounting functions and budget processes.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Expertise in executing accounting functions Experience in developing and managing annual budgets Knowledge of budget processes, from planning to execution Ability to perform cost analysis and provide insights for budget optimization Experience in cost estimations, particularly in relation to budgeting Demonstrated skills in budgeting, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
