We have long been associated with many of the most significant advances in eye health, and we believe we are well positioned to continue leading the advancement of eye health in the future.Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director of Insights and Analytics for the US/CA Consumer business unit. This newly created position has overall responsibility for insights and analytics plan development, all market research execution, and creation of actionable insights to inform our innovation agenda and drive growth across the business. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Consumer and serving as a member of the US/CA Consumer leadership team, the successful candidate will bring a strong learning and growth perspective, a passion for consumer and shopper insights, and a track record of thought leadership in consumer health / OTC, Rx to OTC switch, CPG or closely related categories.Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Consumer BU leadership team, be the champion for an insights driven agenda and a key strategy advisor to the BU leadership and ensure insights are translated into action.

Partner with marketing leadership and brand teams to develop insights agenda and execute research / analytics plans encompassing consumer, eye care professional and shopper insights.

Lead the development of high-impact insight-based recommendations that drive business level, category, and brand strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research findings and data analytics are incorporated into business strategies.

Advocate for the consumer, category and shopper with brand marketing and sales / category management teams to ensure B+L’s growth plans are rooted in consumer and customer needs.

Collaborate with Innovation Lead, Brand Marketing, Digital Commerce, Medical Affairs, and R&D team to develop consumer insights to inform our strategic innovation agenda.

Ensure creation of useful analytics methodologies, reports, and dashboards that improve the speed and quality of our decision making.

Develop and maintain relationships with external research partners and vendors (IRI, IQVIA, etc.).

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in market research and consumer insights to improve the way we work.

Be at the forefront for driving innovation such as AI, etc. into our research and data analytics.

Manage direct reports responsible for consumer data analytics (IRI, IQVIA, etc.) and reporting and market research project execution.

Qualifications:

Seeking someone who thrives in a culture that requires high agility, flexibility in your ways of working to adjust to multiple demands, shifting business needs and priorities

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, market research, psychology, or related field

15+ years of experience in consumer insights, data analytics, market research, or related field

Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of research professionals

Experience developing and executing research plans, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights in consumer health / OTC, Rx to OTC switch, CPG, or closely related categories

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
