The role is focused on establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts, meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars, and exceeding customer expectations.This position will develop and implement a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the assigned territory while working collaboratively with Sales, Service, Commercial Development Leaders, Danaher Business Systems Leader, Marketing, Sales Enablement and Commercial Operations, and Application counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets.All the responsibilities we will trust you with:Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while mentoring and working proactively in coordination with regional and expanded teams.

Train others on accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce and find opportunities to share Best Practices.

Lead and train others on achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and be the subject matter authority on product demos, installs, and customer training across expanded teams.

Lead the process and relationships to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence for prospective and current customers across territories by identifying client shareholders to drive immediate hardware installation for AT2, AT2DX, Versa, LV1, and all GT450 installation in <45 days .

Proactively report and countermeasure competitor activities and strategies.

Independently communicates complex and technical product information as well as technical IT and networking information to a variety of customer partners.

Perform all initial client scanner and software training within 2 weeks of scanner installation and provide retraining as needed.

Master and teach Danaher Business System (DBS), tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, and Territory Business Reviews) with proactive strategic improvements for tools and sharing Best Practices.

Master product portfolio and capability and mentor, teach, and assist product management with Voice of the Customer (VOC).

Proactively assist Sales Manager with coaching and mentoring Sales Specialists and Sales Consultants.

Serve as proxy during Regional Sales Manager's absence.

Independently identify areas for improvement, suggests new daily management, and sustains new daily management.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matters most:Degree in Life Sciences or Master’s Degree in Business/MBA

Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology experience preferred

Prior capital sales experience

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM

Understanding of sophisticated IT networks within health care settings

Business/financial management comprehension preferred

Excellent selling and presentation skills, relationship building, sales closing, and account management

Ability to analyze situations, tackle practical problems and resolve a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Capacity for critical thinking, planning, and tactical implementation

Proven track record of closing bundled systems sales

Self-motivated and ambitious problem solver with the ability to lead without authority
