Key Responsibilities:
Create and serve exceptional cocktails with a balance of technique, artistry, and hospitality.
Demonstrate expertise in spirits, liqueurs, bitters, infusions, and continuously experiment with new techniques techniques (e.g., fat-washing, sous-vide, clarification, carbonation, smoke/flavor infusions)
Maintain mastery of cocktail history, classics, and modern trends to deliver both authenticity and innovation.
Experiment with premium ingredients, infusions, syrups, and garnishes to ensure a distinctive bar program.
Engage with guests by providing storytelling around cocktails, spirits, and techniques to elevate the guest experience.
Uphold immaculate standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety behind the bar at all times.
Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address any concerns with professionalism and grace.
Act as a brand ambassador, cultivating a sense of exclusivity and sophistication in the guest experience.
Contribute to pre-shift tastings and training sessions to maintain consistency across the team.
Model professionalism, punctuality, and a polished appearance at all times.
Contribute to ongoing bar program evolution by staying ahead of trends and introducing new techniques.
Bar & Station Preparation Duties:
Prepare all syrups, infusions, cordials, shrubs, and house-made mixers daily to exacting recipes and standards.
Ensure fresh garnishes, herbs, citrus, and other ingredients are consistently prepped, labeled, and stored for peak quality.
Polish all glassware, bar tools, and service items to a pristine finish prior & post each shift.
Restock and organize premium spirits, wine, and liqueurs, ensuring easy access and elegant presentation.
Monitor and rotate stock to maintain freshness and reduce waste, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out).
Conduct daily bar opening and closing checklists, ensuring the bar is guest-ready at all times.
Proactively identify prep needs to ensure uninterrupted service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-end cocktail bars or luxury hospitality venues.
Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail history.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute unique, balanced cocktails.
STRONG guest engagement and hospitality skills.
Attention to detail, consistency, and passion for hospitality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Hoboken Bar card needed.
