Job Description SummaryAs a Finance Manager, you will lead the Finance Analytics and Insights function within the BD Excellence Acceleration Office Team. You will be responsible for bridging finance and technical aspects, focusing on initiatives across functions, leveraging data, analytics, and technology to optimize processes, enhance performance, and create value. You will also partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic initiatives that support the supply chain vision and goals. Become a maker of possible with us.Operational responsibilitiesManage and coordinate multiple key tasks related to the support of developing analytics and insights capabilities:
Leverage analytics and insights to: (1) drive operational performance and (2) identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
Support evaluate and select ideas based on feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with business goals.
Lead Concept Development process, including prototyping and business models, and advise on plans for implementation.
Act as a change leader by challenging the status-quo, identifying, and embracing transformational, company-wide initiatives.
Function as a key interface between Integrated Supply Chain, Regional, and Business Units, facilitating visibility and the adoption of best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive finance strategies and operational objectives are met.
Contribute to Forums (or Communities of Practice), sharing knowledge and promoting collaborative problem-solving.
Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the supply chain performance, efficiency, and profitability.
Leads change management, knowledge building/retention, and talent development
Lead business analysis activities and support the function and top management to deliver insightful solutions to help achieve business goals
Act as a guide and support stakeholders from the global Finance organization with added value actionable insights
Work with and align to Global Finance, TGS, and Data Science teams to understand company strategy on data science, standardization, and technology platforms
Lead the development of defined key reports for the different stakeholders for the Global Finance organization
Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery
while helping to change Excel based culture
Lead the work on continuous improvement and automation of developed solutions based on stakeholder feedback
Explore state-of-the art capabilities such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other data analytics tools and help with introduction to day-to-day usage and achieve better outcomes
Metrics/Analytics
Meet timeliness and accuracy of assigned development tasks, and objectives
Report and follow-up on any gaps with corrective and preventive actions leveraging efficient analytics
Education
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Computer Science/Engineering preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Experiences
Should have at least 5 years (or more) of relevant business experience in either logistics, customer service, supply chain or procurement operations
Proven track record of leading and delivering innovation and transformation projects across the Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain or other complex business functions.
Advanced experience with developing Power BI reports
Fluent in relational database concepts
Basic knowledge of Python, R, DAX, SQL
Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes is key
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Macros and VBA
Experience with ERP systems is a plus – SAP, SCM
