Several opportunities to join the team are available in the following functional areas:Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis (Corp P&A) supports and partners with Corporate Sector CFOs and their F&BM teams on financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting and other ad-hoc analysis and strategic priorities. The team also provides support for the Firm-wide P&A, Investor Relations, Regulatory Capital Management Office, Resolution & Recovery and other Corporate groups. The Corporate Functional Planning & Analysis (P&A) team is a centralized group supporting the Corporate function CFOs across the 30+ Corporate functions including Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility, Audit, Executive and other staff and corporate-aligned areas.Firmwide Planning and Analysis (FW P&A) is a key Finance function within the Office of the CFO that supports the Firmwide CFO, the Firmwide Controller, Line of Business CFOs, and other key stakeholders. FW P&A provides pertinent and timely analysis of the firm's financial performance for the current quarter and year, as well as the medium-term forecast. FW P&A resides within the Financial Analysis group, which also includes the Firm's Global Finance transformation teams.Job DescriptionPlanning and Analysis Vice Presidents are responsible for developing analytical capabilities, supporting ad-hoc initiatives and building management presentations on a wide range of topics. Responsibilities will also include monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis in collaboration with Finance/CFO teams and other stakeholders. Vice Presidents are responsible for examining the financial performance for the current quarter/year and over a multi-year horizon through multiple lenses (e.g., by product, by business segment). They play a vital and accountable role in clearly articulating drivers of financial performance to senior management and in high profile forums including:Semi-monthly financial updates to Firm's Controller and CFO

Monthly financial updates to the Board, Operating Committee, Risk Committee and Regulators

Quarterly Earnings

Multiyear forecasts (the Firm's Budget)

They will need to coordinate and effectively communicate across multiple teams including LOB Planning & Analysis teams, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance Analytics, Controllers and Corporate Treasury; therefore they must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and with evolving priorities.To be successful in this role, it is recommended that candidates have the following:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

At least 6 years professional experience, ideally in a similar role (e.g. Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance)

Advanced analytical skills; ability to analyze financial performance for the current quarter/year & over a multi-year horizon through multiple lenses

Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate financial results succinctly and efficiently in varying degrees of detail and form depending on the audience

Client/customer relationship management skills; ability to comfortably interact with various business partners (e.g. IR, Tax, LOB teams) and senior management

Ability to independently execute on priorities, identify roadblocks and solutions

Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects accordingly

Detail oriented

Other helpful skills include:Literacy of digital solutions

Knowledge of automation concepts and tools

VBA/Macro and Tableau knowledge
