Firmware System Test Engineer

We are seeking a system test engineer to play a big part in the success and growth.

• Conduct firmware verification/validation testing of electronic and electrical products, hardware modules, and application software
• Create test plans and procedures for new products and software changes; participate in product development lifecycle; assist with automating tests
• IP Network configuration of a device under test
• Provide documentation, debug information, and reproduction steps
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to identify issues early, provide solutions and initiate corrective actions; define engineering requirements
  • Optimize quality control to ensure issues are addressed and resolved prior to release

• 5 years validation experience or similar role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Experience with Linux, including shell scripting and standard command line utilities; writing test /validation code in Linux environments with Python
• Knowledge of Python and C/C; C# experience a plus
• Knowledge of IP / IPv4 network configuration and basic networking concepts
• Knowledge of Software verification/validation process, automation techniques, and testing methodologies
• Experience working in a small team is highly desired
