They work closely with clients to develop fragrances that resonate with consumers and stay ahead of market trends.This is a long-term role where the new team member will work in a brand-new lab and play an integral part in developing fragrances for customers.Role Overview: Lab Technician will have the unique opportunity to work in both the applications lab and the compounding lab, gaining expertise in both areas. This role involves following precise formulas to blend raw materials into sample products for customers around the world. Training will be provided to exceptional candidates with a keen interest in fragrance. Ideal applicants will have a bachelor’s degree with lab experience in a scientific field or considerable experience in a fragrance or flavor compounding lab.Main Duties:

Compounding fragrance oils on a medium and small scale in the onsite laboratory.

Working in the applications lab to test and refine fragrance formulations.

Liaising with perfumers and evaluators to produce sample products.

Following precise formulas requiring attention to detail.

Adhering to strict health and safety procedures, wearing provided PPE at all times.

Keeping the laboratory organized and safe, in line with company standards.

Ideal Candidate:

Has a keen interest in fragrance.

Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.

Well-organized with a tidy workstation ethic.

Strong math and literacy skills.

Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can also work independently.

Keen to learn and develop skills to progress within the industry.
