Full Stack Digital Engineer (REMOTE)

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Remote Full Stack Digital Engineer for a FULL TIME/Contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance/Financial Services clients. Ideally, if the candidate is located in the tri-state area - that will be the best scenario - but is open to anywhere in the USA (EST hours). Responsibilities :

• Develop digital solutions, products and services that are required to build customer focused experiences across specific business agile teams to achieve business needs and digital goals.
• Work with the agile teams including product owners, business analysts, designers, and quality engineering to develop technical solutions to drive current and future platform vision and roadmaps.
• Help plan and support business process to identify go to market strategies for new products and services
• Define and drive user experience and technical design concepts, partnering with the Global Technology teams, Enterprise Architecture, Data Science, and other groups across Prudential enterprise

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 4+ years relevant experience working building web servicesusing backend technologies including SpringBoot, SpringMVC, JPA, Tomcat, REST, Hibernate
• 3+ years of hands-on technology development in financial services, technology, or start-up environments
• 3+ years of experience working on any aspect of digital products / services
• 3+ years relevant experience on client-side technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Angular 11+, Jasmine, Mocha, TypeScript, NPM, WebPack, React, Web Component using Lit Element
• Direct experience working in agile teams, and cross collaborating with other technology organizations
• Organized, detail-oriented individual who is capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes with business units and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities and a strong work ethic
• Endlessly curious in how emerging digital and technology trends can translate into excellent customer experiences
• Data-driven mindset, using quantitative tools and analyzing unstructured feedback to inform the development of solutions
• Experience in building scalable, resilient, and fault tolerant applications in the hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Working knowledge of implementing automated DevOps process using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.
• Knowledge of Responsive and Material design

• Understanding of Cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Understanding of test automation leveraging testing tools such as REST Assured, Newman Postman, Selenium, Protractor etc.
• Understanding of creating enterprise scale monitoring and operational architecture using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch
