How you will contribute

The Global Hosting Lead is responsible for the managing of the Hosting services (operating system, database, VM and back-up) from Platform that are required to deliver business services. This is a key role within the Platform Hosting and Integration (PHI)leadership team. The Global Hosting Lead drives the development of global hosting strategy, architecture, service delivery standards and procedures for the enterprise. The role establishes metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for driving the performance of Hosting group delivery for MDLZ. The role participates in global strategy planning activities bringing a current knowledge and future vision of hosting technology and systems, and best practices (e.g. ITIL) as related to the needs of the business. The Global Hosting Lead will drive all technical activities required for the successful day to day operation of Mondelez across both on-premise and cloud deployments. For major programs they will work with both the Technical and the Release Leads to enable the hosting portion of these projects to be completed on time and to budget. Further the Global Hosting Lead will own key relationships with Microsoft, Dr Lan, Google Cloud Platform, DxC and Accenture to deliver services.

What you will bring

1) Budget and Forecasting Management:

•Responsible for global Hosting budget of $60MM

•Partner with senior management to provide value-added insights and analysis to the business

•Meet with regional market and finance leads monthly/quarterly for discussions pertaining to Hosting finance

2) Strategy Development:

• Lead the definition of the future vision for Hosting infrastructure and the strategy to deliver it.

•Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions to best deliver optimal business value for hybrid cloud structure taking into account both the on-premises needs as well relationship with leading cloud providers.

•Achieve the vision, taking into account business goals, service levels, technology opportunities and cost pressures.

•Keep a note of upcoming trends in the various technology disciplines and turn creative ideas into solutions beneficial to the business.

3) Program Delivery:

•Deliver hosting related projects within time and budget inclusive of service proposition, technical components, and training and communication material.

•Align plans and dependencies with the overall program, including the deployment schedule with global / regional teams, and assumption of support by operational teams.

•Lead overall technology planning in area of oversight by developing a future vision of Hosting solutions.

4) Leadership and Communication:

•Ensure engagement awareness throughout the hosting organization in relation to strategy, issues, and progress.

•Communicate effectively and advise and influence peers and key stakeholders on strategic hosting technology directions.

•Collaborate with colleagues (Infrastructure groups, EA groups, Market leads, Vendors and Partners, etc to ensure commitment and support for hosting Infrastructure initiatives and programs.

5) People Management and Organizational Design:

•Design and develop the appropriate organization (regional hosting leads and their respective teams) to deliver operational and development objectives on a global basis.

•Recruit, develop, coach, motivate and lead a team of associates and contractors to the top grade of engagement and performance.

•Develop and maintain a resilient organizational structure and workforce to support long-term objectives.

Vendor Management:

•Lead/drive a balanced scaling effort which includes off-shoring, outsourcing and other methods to provide high quality, cost efficient services.

More about this role& Requirements

•10+ years of IT Experience. Strong hands-on knowledge of technologies stack in key areas such as public cloud, on-premise datacenters, monitoring, virtualization, network management and IT security.

•Understanding and knowledge of on-premise data-centers in regards to storage, network, servers and design.

•Ability to handle large budget, understand pace reports and analyses spend and identify opportunities or risks.

•Development and maintaining architecture and platforms Azure and Google Cloud Platform cloud - including PaaS and IaaS architectures (details below:)

•Experience designing, planning and implementing Azure/Google Cloud Platform environments.

•Experience with Big Query, Azure SQL, Azure Automation, and/or Azure Resource Manager.

•Azure\\Google Cloud Platform Storage and Backup Experience.

•Azure\\Google Cloud Platform network experience.
